With a background in architecture and a sharp eye for materiality, she founded ATAM Studio to bridge the gap between art and everyday living. The Story Behind Atam Studio
ATAM Studio was born from a simple frustration — too many spaces look beautiful in photographs but feel empty in person. Founded in Mumbai by Ar. Tejal Agawane, the studio set out to change that. We wanted to create interiors and architecture that you don't just see, but feel. Spaces where every surface, every shadow, every silence is deliberate.
The name "ATAM" reflects the idea of the self — the innermost identity. We believe a space should be an extension of the person who inhabits it. Not a showcase, but a sanctuary. Not decoration, but architecture of the soul.
